Interview
Could you tell us what prompted you to consider implementing GulfNet’s system?
Dr. Doya: I had known about GulfNet for a long time because we had business dealings with Otaru Dining (GulfNet’s former group company). Currently, we have implemented GulfNet’s cash collection service deposit machine.
Could you tell us the reason for introducing the service?
Dr. Doya: Before introducing the service, I used to go to the bank during lunch breaks or after closing the clinic to deposit sales proceeds. However, on busy days, it was difficult to make time for that, so I decided to introduce GulfNet’s service to improve efficiency.
How often and at what timing is cash collected?
Dr. Doya: Cash collection takes place once a week on a fixed day.
How did you initially obtain information about the service?
Dr. Doya: I learned about GulfNet through our connection with Otaru Dining. As for the service details, I checked their website.
What were the selection criteria when considering the service?
Dr. Doya: I did not inquire with other companies, and I had no specific selection criteria as long as the cost-performance was reasonable. Since I already trusted GulfNet due to our past dealings with Otaru Dining, I decided to go with them.
Were there any issues when introducing the service?
Dr. Doya: Right after implementing the service, we had to make some adjustments to the used deposit machine a few times. However, there have been no issues since then.
Was the implementation process smooth?
Dr. Doya: Since it was our first time introducing this type of service, I had no point of comparison to determine whether it was smooth or not. There were some minor hurdles, such as preparing for the implementation, setting up the network connection, and removing the existing safe, but everything was successfully put in place.
What kind of feedback did you receive from employees before and after the implementation?
Dr. Doya: Since I was primarily responsible for making deposits, there wasn’t much reaction from employees. However, my workload was significantly reduced, which has been a great help.
What benefits have you seen after implementing the service?
Dr. Doya: The deposit process has become much easier.
Do you have any requests for GulfNet?
Dr. Doya: If I had to mention something, I think it would be more convenient if automatic withdrawals were available.
Have you encountered any problems due to malfunctions of the deposit machine?
Dr. Doya: Basically, no. However, we did need some minor adjustments right after installation.
How frequently does the machine break down?
Dr. Doya: It hasn’t malfunctioned for almost a year now. In the initial phase, we had to make about three to four adjustments.
That concludes our interview. Thank you very much.
Dr. Doya: Thank you.
